The micropore surface areas and micropore volumes of
the samples are shown in Table 1. It can be seen that the surface
areas and volumes of the three kinds of activated carbons
were different obviously. P-AC had the largest surface
area and pore volume. However, the adsorption properties
towards greenhouse gases of P-AC were not the most excellent.
We deduced that the key factors that govern the adsorption
properties were the micropore shape and size distribution.
The micropore size distributions of the activated carbons
are displayed in Figure 4.
