Currently, several studies have focused on the aggregation and
fate of nanoparticles in aquatic environments (Bian et al., 2011;
Yang et al., 2009; Zhu et al., 2014). However, few reports discuss
the behavior of photoactive nano-TiO2 affected by UV irradiation
under a range of conditions. Because solar light is ubiquitous, the
purpose of this study is to focus on the pattern of nano-TiO2
behavior induced by UV irradiation under different pH levels,
especially in the presence of humic acid. The results are important
for interpreting TiO2 behavior in natural water bodies.
