Greetings from Hotel de la Paix Cha-am. I am sorry to hear that Mr. & Mrs. Barrett's experience did not meet their expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We strive to ensure our guests are enjoying their stay in every possible way. Throughout their stay our Front Office Manager and I had regular contact with Mr. & Mrs. Barrett, during which time they commented that they were enjoying their stay with us and they did not express any form of complaint.
With regards to the hotel being in need of a refurbishment, we take the upmost care to ensure that our hotel is maintained to the highest possible standard, however, this is a continuous project.
Furthermore, due to the current season in Thailand, we typically experience high tide during the day which can make beach access difficult. We are aware of this, therefore access to the beach was provided to Mr. & Mrs. Barrett via another route, along with the offer of a shuttle service to the main beach in Cha-Am.
We are deeply sorry with the construction noise, it is a matter that is unfortunately beyond our control, however we can fully understand that it may have caused upset to your clients. As a gesture of good will, we would like to waive the charge of 1 nights stay from your invoice reducing it from THB 21,200 to THB 16,960.
