5.10 CONCIERGE / GUEST SERVICES RESPONSE (Cont’d)
5.10.7 If evacuation is necessary, direct all guests in the lobby to the assembly points for roll call.
5.10.8 All Bellmen to proceed to the assembly point at the hotel front for roll call.
5.10.9 Bellman to assist and coordinate with the Front Office Supervisor and Fire Brigade Team on any missing guests following the roll call.
5.10.10 Refer all press and media queries to the following:
- General Manager
- EAM - Room
- Communication Manager
If fire and evacuation happens between 1600 to 0800 hours:
5.10.11 Bellmen to proceed to the fire control room as members of Search Team B.
5.10.12 Obtain instruction from the Duty Security Officer.
5.10.13 The Duty Security Officer will assign each Search Team B member and hand over the keys, torch lights and masks.
5.10.14 Standby at the lift lobby level 1.
5.10.15 Search Team Leader will use the S1 lift to deploy the Search Team B members to the assigned floors.
5.10.16 Other Search Team B members not assigned to remain on standby with the Search Team Leader.
5.10.17 Physically check all evacuated guestrooms for guests or staff.
5.10.18 Mark a big cross (X) on the guestroom door as indication that the room has been checked.
5.10.19 If door cannot be opened, inform Emergency Response Team using the fireman intercom located at staircase FST 2.
5.10.20 Upon completion, Search Team B members to use staircase FST.2 to return to the fire control room and report to the Duty Security Officer.
5.10.21 Exit via level 1 entrance or employee entrance and proceed to the assembly point.
