Owing to the importance of knowledge creation capability, its antecedents become a crucial
research issue in that it can provide a more complete picture on how firms create new
knowledge and advance knowledge management research (Smith et al., 2005).
Investigating the impact of organizational culture on knowledge creation capability can
identify a key antecedent of knowledge creation capability, thus it has a distinct contribution
to knowledge management research. Unfortunately, there is minimal research on it, which is
a serious research gap.
