The switch LEDs provide information about the switch’s operational status. These LEDS include the Input Power LED (green), Heartbeat LED (green), and the System Fault LED (amber) (Figure 2). For information about port LEDs, see ”Port LEDs” (page 13). The Maintenance button (Figure 2) is the only switch control. It is used to reset a switch or to recover a disabled switch. To apply power to the switch, plug the power cord into the switch AC power receptacle, located on the back of the switch, and into a 100–240 VAC power source. The power supply (or supplies) must be plugged in order for the switch to be powered on. Refer to
