Appley1 reported 2.4% poor results in a group of 41 conservatively treated patients. Garlicki and Kreczko8 reported 2.8% poor results in 35 patients. Others had worse results. Duparc and Ficat7 reported 3.7% poor results in 80 patient treated surgically, whereas Garlicki and Kreczko8 found 17.4% poor results in 34 patients
