A final limitation is the relatively small sample which
limits the generaliseability of the results. Although
our sample only included German-Indian IJVs we
suggest that similar relationships can be found for
IJVs in other settings. Yet, future studies should
attempt to base their analysis on a larger sample to
allow for generalisation of the findings. Furthermore,
while our study was cross-sectional in nature, longitudinal
studies would be helpful to allow for a better
understanding of the development of the relationship
between role conflicts, individual job satisfaction
and IJV performance
