This diagram shows the Earth’s “ocean current cycle”. The Ocean current is the movement of water in the ocean. Which will flow at all time and all over the world slowly flowing in the same direction. We can see it that there are two different part of ocean current and there are four different steps until the ocean current changeover again.
The firstly, there are two different part of ocean current. The world is a sphere, so the temperature of the water in the ocean is different. When energy from the Sun reflect in equator area more than other areas, as a result of the water in that area have a high temperature. Then lighter and rises, it is a “warm currents". While the water around the pole will be a little heat, as a result of the water around the pole has a low temperature be not warmed and sank down became to deep current, it is a “cold current”.
The Secondly, there are four different steps until the ocean current changeover again. First, the gulf stream is warm currents and made the West of Europe has mild climate. The water was warmed by the sun, then the water is very salty because there is a lot of evaporation. Second, the North Atlantic water travels from north to south it is cool water and sinks. That take oxygen to the deep ocean and that a good area for fishing. Third, cold eastern current travels from west to east some to Pacific and then go to some India ocean. Fourth, warm western current travels from east to west, the water in this area have a high temperature then lighter and rises. As result water is warmed and made area in India and the South of Asia has hot climate.
In conclusion, the warm and cold current of air temperature on the surface, affect the temperature of the air on the surface of our world. Which the currents will be take cold air above the cold current or hot air over the warm current to the earth. This causes the seasons . Also, the ocean currents can affect the living things in the sea. In terms of energy transfer and the increase or decrease of minerals and nutrients. It is also a source of aquatic animals. It is suitable for fishery in that area.
