ADVICE COLUMN
Dear Jeff and Lillian,
I am writing to tell you a story.
It's too late for you to tall me what to do nom, but maybe you could tall me what I should have done. Your advice might be useful to others in similar situations.
My best friend, Sue, has been dating a guy for six months. She reallv likes him. I always had my doubts abouther boyfriend. We sometimes went out on dates together, and he always seemed to notice other women.
Well, a week ago, I went out dancing with a fewfriends to a club in a different part of town. I saw Sue's boyfriend there with another woman. They were dancing and having fun together, and they didn't notice me. Someone at the club said that they were often there together. I didn't know what to do, but I decided to tell sue. Well, she asked her boyfriend, and he said it was a one-time night out and thet I just wanted to make trouble. Now Sue is mad at me. Now I wish that I hadn't said anything to Sue. Whet do you think I should have done? Should I have just not said anything? Would thet have been fair to sue?

Dear Jeff and Lillian, I'm a limo driver, and people leave all kinds of things in my limousine-scarves, packages, and even shoes. Last Saturday night I picked up this elegant couple at their hotel and drove them to the opera. The woman must have been wearing a million dollars worth of jewelry. On the weekend, when I was cleaning the inside of the car, I noticed something shining. The woman's diamond bracelet must have fallen off, and it slipped behind the seat.
So I callad the hotel where the couple was staying, explained what had happened, and arranged to return the bracelet. The woman was extremely grateful. And in tears she told me that it was a valuable family jewel, worn by her grandmother, and went on to praise my honeaty. Then she opened her purse, took ont a ten-dollar bill, and gave it to me. I refused, but she insisted. Ten bucks! Can you believe it?
I should have kept the bracalet. Since then I've been thinking of what I could have done with the money. I could have bought my own limousine or started my own business.
Did I do the right thing?
