To exaime effect SRT to the induction of mb fouling , the increase in hydralic resistance cause by SRT different was calculated using the resistance –in- series of Darcy Law
The figure show the dominant contribution of cake deposit on the membrane fouling
And the hydraulic resistance from deposit of SRT 60 d present 50% of total hydraulic resistance indicating that SRT 60d negatively impact on mb fouling
And while the hydraulic resistance (deposit, pore blocking and adsorption) was low value when opearted at SRT 15 and 30d
This is due to increase of MLSS concentration when increasing SRT from 15 to 60d that lead to higher in cake resistance
So, The role of SRT on these resistances obviously appeared cake deposit in accordance with its influence on sludge concentration.
