This can be attributed
to the fact that the glycerol produced during reaction would largely
dissolve in excess methanol, which in turn inhibit the reaction of
methanol to the reactants and catalyst, thus interfering with the
separation of glycerol. This will result in shifting the equilibrium in
the reverse direction, causing decrease in the biodiesel yield [29].
From the results the best methanol to oil molar ratio is found to be
15:1
