I have mixed feelings for English Pear & Freesia. The EDT, on my skin, literally smells like a fruity mixed alcoholic beverage. I don't know what it is, but the opening fruity aquatic notes never go away, and there is a continuous overtone of alcohol.
Now, the body cream, however, is divine. The opening is fresh, crisp pear, and then the scent that lingers is the base of amber, patchouli and white musk. Very warm, and a good complement to many other Jo Malone scents. I've been pairing this with Earl Grey & Cucumber EDT, and I love the combination.
I highly recommend the body cream if you didn't have success with the EDT.
