The FAMEs were analyzed by gas chromatography (SHIMADZU
2014, Japan,) equipped with a flame ionization detector, auto-sampler-
AOC-20i and split/splitles injector. The sample (1 ll) was
injected and the separation was carried out on an Optima 240
fused silica capillary column (60 m 0.25 mm 0.25 lm)
(Macherey–Nagel GmbH& Co.KG, Germany), as described previously
(Vucic et al., 2012). The FA were identified by comparing
their retention times with those of standards (Sigma Chemical, St
Louis, MO, USA), and expressed as percentage of total FA.
