Several cities offer trip planner services online to help people find the shortest, and the most user-friendly routes to destinations (Ehrgott et al, 2012). All have been trying to design systems to be helpful in way-finding for both normally sighted
people and the visually impaired (Gaunet, 2006). Some studies have been undertaken on navigation systems such as AR and robotic technology (Azuma, 1997). Most of these studies tried to use cognitive maps to develop and progress the navigation
system; very few studies checked whether or not navigation systems can influence the cognitive maps. This study aims to find an answer to this question.
