I can’t remember exactly where this recipe originated or how I stumbled upon it, but it is a firm favorite in my house and I bet it will become one in your home too. I use fresh as well as dried chillies because my husband is a sucker for a bit of bite to his food, but you are welcome to omit it if you wish. It makes enough for 6 people but can be adapted to feed an army if you choose – just change quantities as you see fit, there is no right or wrong.
