Quality Improvement Priorities:
1. Assure that diagnostic or therapeutic procedures are performed for clinically valid reasons.
2. Assure that health care services are accessible and available to all segments of the population who
have need of them.
3. To work toward the goal of increased desirable outcomes.
4. Assure appropriate, accurate, and complete documentation of the clinical care process.
5. Focus on providing appropriate and timely consultation, diagnosis, follow-up of findings and tests, and
timely referrals to assure continuity of care.
6. Provide for concise compilation of information that will be of value to other organizations, including
reference databases.

satisfaction.
9. Assure compliance with the requirements of all federal, state, and accrediting agencies in regard to
quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
