This paper has discussed the situation of FLEGT implementation in Thailand. The country has made an effort to implement FLEGT. However, there are some challenges needed to be concerned if the country is to meet an objective of FLEGT. Such constraint include; particularly the laws of restrict timber and complexity and inconsistency of laws. The paper proposes some direction to reform for successful FLEGT implementation in Thailand. Such suggestions are canceling restricted timbers growing on private lands; making laws simplified, and reducing the number of complex and conflicting laws.
