OPDIVO® (nivolumab) is a prescription medicine used to treat metastatic melanoma, a type of skin cancer that has spread, or melanoma that cannot be removed by surgery. It is prescribed to adults who have been previously treated with and progressed on YERVOY® (ipilimumab) and, if the patient's tumor has an abnormal BRAF gene, YERVOY and a BRAF inhibitor.
It is not known if OPDIVO is safe and effective in children less than 18 years of age.
