Intended sample
Your choice of sampling technique will depend very much in your research design. IN the following chapter we examine sampling in detail; it is vital to make the correct choice of technique in order to fulfil the goals of the research. It is important in a research proposal to identify how a sample will be achieved, and the technique and procedures that will be used. It is also important to identify the research population, the size of the sample that will be used, if this can be determined at this stage, and how the sample will be contacted.
