The crop field ICW outflow leaves the wetland through a combination 15.25-cm and 22.9-cm fiberglass Parshall flume. There is a 15.25-cm difference in the elevation of the flume floors. Outflow does not begin to flow from the smaller flume until the flow stage gets to at least 15.25 cm. The flow stage in the Parshall flume is monitored using a TFLi water level sensor (Yoder et al., 1999) in a stilling well attached to the larger flume that is read by a CR800 datalogger. The flow stage is converted to flow discharge by the CR800 datalogger. The datalogger pulses a water sampler (Isco model 3700) based on a 41-m3 set volume.
