highest grain yield, and total grain carbohydrate and
protein. Table 2 showed that while there were no
significant differences in DS in any treatments 7 days
after the initial application, there were significant
differences with regard to the DI. However, 14 days
after the initial application, significant differences in
DS were observed between the rice plots. Plots
treated with T. harzianum at 108 spore ml1 or
Hinosan showed the lowest DS (2.8), while those
treated with T. harzianum at 108 spore ml1 showed
the lowest DI. 21 days after the initial treatment, the
rice plots treated with T. harzianum at 108 spore ml1
or Hinosan showed the lowest level of DS (2.5),
while those plots treated with T. harzianum at
108 spore ml1 showed the lowest DI (46.9%). There
was no correlation between DI and DS since disease
can occur with high percentage on the plant even
although its severity may be low.
