This bachelor thesis focused on the development of effective classroom
management in the class of young learners. The action research which was carried out
in the newly formed class of young learners was done specifically with the intention to
find out if establishing classroom rules and the application of positive reinforcement can
help to eliminate classroom disruptions and to solve discipline problems, in this class
especially the problem of attention-seeking students. Further, the action research served
to find out the classroom management strategies which would help to manage the
smooth running of the class.
