Results of pot experiment in the greenhouse showed
that all the selected strains could effectively improve
the peanut germination rate, and Bacillus strain
JGA2(-5)27-2 had the highest germination rate of 76.0%,
which was 12.0% higher than the control. Bacillus strain
JGA2(-5)27-2 not only had the highest germination rate,
but also had the highest plant height of 6.5 cm, which was
an increase of 6.6% more than the control. Results indicated
that to isolate biological control bacteria according
to the two aspects, crops (peanuts) and pathogenic fungi
(A. parasiticus) is feasible, which is conducive to the
application in the field.
During the process of screening of biological control
intuitive, fast, efficient, and quantitative determination
was difficult, as there were only a few methods that
could be used. In this research, the tip-culture method
was used for quantitative determination, which as useful
culture method could accelerate the screening of efficient
biological control bacteria.
