of the TEG varying with the current I of the PV module for given
values of c and ZTC . It can be seen from Figs. 5 and 6 that P and j
increase as the figure of merit Z increases. The larger the structure
parameter c is, the larger the power output P and the smaller the
dimensionless electric current j. This indicates that a large structure
parameter is better for the performance of the PV–TEG hybrid
system.
