No worry at all. We are aware that Mint is away. Jenny and I have attended the call and it went well.
A few things surfaced which I like to share:
1) I have informed Seagate that we intend to change the file format and make one standard file format for SG/TH. We will recommend our format and they follow. Do this fast so that we can save effort by them fitting into our format instead of us fitting into theirs.
2) I refused to provide test cases on the basis that they are doing the outbound file, not us. The final agreement is that they will set up a test environment and generate the cases for us to test. We can help to look at the test scenarios and provide feedback before they created the test cases.
3) We need to provide some validations rules to help them to understand what we validate. I think it is not necessary to give all, the common and important one.
4) Some risks identified like 2 entries of the same kinds will only provide top of deck, no future dated hiring, withdrawal or changes in future dated termination.
Jenny and I will be joining the call tomorrow to ensure consistency in our approach. I have also spoken to Seagate to coordinate the future call and ask Workdays to provide their schedule till end of project and head ups on what type of document they need from us.
