The AWD clutch (1) (if AWD is equipped) receives pump oil from the AWD solenoid valve when AWD is activated.
The AWD solenoid valve (2) (if equipped) directs oil to the AWD clutch when the solenoid receives an electrical signal that the AWD switch has been activated by the operator.
The system relief valve (3) is used to maintain maximum system pressure at the forward and reverse shuttle clutches, as well as provide a flow of oil to the torque converter and transmission for lubrication and cooling purposes.
