I usually doesn't write review but this time round I really had to because of some issue . The hotel location was convenient and easy to find ! The thing that surprise us was Upon check in we were serve with welcome drink because normally when i check in to other hotel there's no welcome drink service at all . First thumbs up for this !
Second thumbs up is the portal ! The bellman ! They make me and my family goes WOW because of their service . They greeted you every time you walk pass them, and they went all the way to help you up with the luggage or shopping bag without you even asking . And they are always smiling and very passionate towards every of their guest !
Third thumbs up for the staff is at the reception I think it's name was call may ? Didn't really get the name though . I understand the hotel is under full house status but she get it done in a very calm status and not even a panic at all . ( Me as a hotelier, I salute her ) because not everyone can handle such situation very well unless you been through the training and also receptionist of the year .
There's one issue I had to highlight to the management in regarding of this guy . His wearing spectacle quite plum, wearing executive jacket and also i assume that his the Front office Manager because he was guiding and monitoring the staff job . If his really the front office manager I would say shame on the hotel . Really . I can see how the staff trying to build rapport with the guest etc etc but this guy . I didn't manage to get his name . His attitude towards a guest is super rude ! ( which is me ) on the fifth day we found a worm in the veg while we was having our breakfast and we alert the F&B staff and they keep apologizing to us and say they would compensate us . But we did not ask for anything we just say it's ok . Nevermind and urge them to check their food before other guest consume it . And this guy ! He walk over and flunt his power or whatever you could think of at us and say "what do you want ?! " in a angry tone . He say he could give anything to us as if we were so desperate for the hotel free gift ! He manage to give two of the rooms late check out for free up till 4pm . And I merely ask, can we have the 3rd room check out abit later like 1pm ? (In a polite tone) and we explain why to the staff and he straight cut in and say : we had already given two room free late check out what do you still want ?! It's impossible for us to give all four room late check out right just because you have some issue in the morning ?
I was so shock to the reply by him, and I was like am merely asking for a 30mins allowance . He replied without hesitation NO ! Straight to my face ! At that point of time I really wanted to find a higher management to talk about this but I had no time to do that ! To be honest, as a hotelier myself I do understand that the tight circumstances in the hotel especially when it's full house . I feel ashamed for the hotelier to have this people to be exist in a hospitality industry . One thing for sure is I have to highlight, I DID NOT DEMAND FOR THE LATE CHECK OUT BECAUSE OF WHAT I FOUND IN YOUR BREAKFAST ! Am asking as a favor or request . He could reply me in a professional way but he did not . This trip to bkk is indeed a disappointment to met such a hotelier and spoil the whole trip . This is my first time in my life I met such a rude hotelier . Will I be back to this hotel ? Maybe no . I'ld rather stay at places like arnoma hotel or amari hotel for my future stay . Because I wouldn't get this kind of attitude in other hotel . Anyway I still need to thanks to the bell boy over there ! Good job for the bell boy !
