We need to understand that
what we do or do not do by way of adequately
stimulating the skin of the growing individual
may make a considerable difference to his subsequent growth and development as a
human being. Hence, the desirability of
mothers recognizing this fact, and their performance
of what will come so naturally to
them: those acts of communication through
the skin that will reciprocally benefit them
as well as their children-and their children’s
children.
