For travel behavior of the respondents, the following were found: 1) places: most
preferred to visit the temples, destination of man-made events while minority visited natural
tourist attractions; 2) accommodations: they preferred hotels with the room rate of 1,000-2 ,000
baht per night; 3) food: they preferred Thai, Northern Thai and Chinese dishes ; and 4) souvenirs:
they preferred indigenous food or local products such as cotton clothes , costing 9,624.69 baht on
average. The respondents preferred to spend much money at Night Bazaar market. The main
reason the respondents did not buy souvenirs was because of its low quality but high price. In
addition, the product did not meet their needs and it was inconvenient to bring home.
For factors related to the travel behavior of the respondents, there was a
statistically significant relationship between travel behavior and sex, age, domicile, educational
attainment, occupation, family type, an average monthly income, main purpose for visiting, and
reference group. There was little difference in each aspect of travel behavior of respondents
