This statement is also confirmed by the partial volume of the TX-100 and CTAB mixture (Fig. S20). From these figures it is clearly seen that the changes of the volume take place only before the micelle formation and the differences between the volume of surfactant in the monomeric and micellar states depend on the alcohol concentration. It can be also stated that at the ethanol concentration higher than CAC, the mixed micelles are not formed because the partial molar volume of the TX-100 and CTAB mixture does not depend on the surfactant mixture concentration.
