Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has spoken of his desire to see Spain finally qualify for the 2014 World Cup and also play an official match on Spanish soil for the first time since the 22nd March when the side drew with Finland in Gijón.
"We all really want to qualify for the World Cup. Few things mean more in the game than to play for your country at a World Cup so we want to get that out of the way", Ramos said on his arrival at the side's Madrid training camp at 'La Ciudad del Fútbol' ahead of two home games in less than a week.
"It is always a plus to play in Spain. The people get behind us incredibly and we are always very grateful. In every corner of the country you can feel the desire for us to do well and now we have two games to enjoy and let the people see the national team close up ", he added.
