In the final part of the retreat, we discuss the next steps. If there is a completed draft, we suggest reviewing it next with groups of middle managers for discussion and feedback, which is accomplished through a series of meetings run by pairs of senior managers who attend the first retreat. This begins the process of extending the change process to the larger workforce. These middle manager meetings ask whether the draft statement is sufficiently realistic and inspirational; will it work, and can they get behind it? And what suggestions would they make to improve it? Their reactions are fed back to a designated manager for preparation of a redraft to be presented at the second retreat
