The directions say
Wash face with Organi Cleanser and Toner, then apply Organi Honey Peel to damp skin. Leave for 10-15 seconds, massage gently and rinse with warm water.
If the sales assistant is correct, the directions actually mean blob it on your face without spreading it, leave for 10-15secs and then massage.
What they don’t say of course is how long should you be doing that for.
Don’t leave it on for more than 20 seconds, it’ll start drying and you will panic, no matter how fun. Fun because, as I mentioned in my other post, lumps of exfoliated skin start to form as you massage. Massage too long and it starts to dry and stick to your face so be careful! But even if that happens, just rinse it off and wipe it clean.
You only need a blob the size of the spoon they give you.
Straight after, I have been using Clarins Toning Lotion to wipe off the rest of the crap on my face. What I found really interesting was the first time I had used this and how quickly it absorbed my moisturiser. My skin, I felt, was dying of thirst and just so, because it has been so dry and dehydrated. Second time round now and the cream sweeps over it as if it’s telling me it’s pretty well hydrated. Does this mean, after I’ve used the Honey Peel, that I have been absorbing the moisturiser better than before? … I think I’m making this sound too good for myself.
She mentioned 50gm should last me a year if I use it weekly and I only need to use it weekly. It makes the super expensive orange goo seem good in terms of value and for what it’s doing so far and if it continues to do so then hell yeah! I mean… I did buy it for $65 rather than $150.
So as you can see, I really like this product. It has seriously given me the softest face I’ve had in ages and has, I think, reduced my bumps and blemishes without irritating it at all. Definitely great for people with dry flaky skin.
I actually bought the Clarisonic Mia just before this to try and achieve the same thing and while I had only used it twice I thought it worked a little, but not to this degree. Ended up returning it after all, particularly now that I have this!
As far as I know, the original store is only available at Pitt St Mall under Myer and somewhere in Chatswood. Or otherwise online at TheMineralMiracle for a cheaper price – I would visit stalls and see what promos they have.
