Today, the Earth is developing by marvelous speed! We can see that there are many buildings and stadiums, parks, and so on in a big city. However, I think these developments are not for the Earth but for ourselves. At result, "the Earth" is not considered, moreover, may be injured. So, I think that the Earth is being harmed by human activity. If a big building is built by cutting woods in the mountain, who can get the benefits? The answer is ourselves, that is, the human only! The animals where lived originally must be left and the nature must be worse. This is just human activity, and we can say that we do the Earth harm. Of course, there are human activity which is considered the nature environments. For example, building a green park in the top of a building is a good plan to protect global warming. However, it is just a little thing and most human activities is not considered "the Earth". At present our world has changed dramatically. We all are responsible for these changes. Excessive energy consumption along with wasteful consumption and extensive de-forestation caused by industrialization has had a great negative impact on this planet. We can all help make the world a better place to live in. Several steps should be taken to do this. We can help plant and maintain trees to help reduce global warming. We can try to be more energy efficient by using energy efficient cars, by turning out lights when they are not needed and by reducing the use of air-conditioners. This will help reduce the amount of oil that has to be removed by drilling. We can reduce the amount of wood used to decrease the amount of de-forestation and help reduce flooding. If we all help by doing our share, the world will be a better place to live in and it would also be a way of showing our appreciation to our ancestors who have made this world a better place to live
