RESPONSIBILITIES
Secure that co-workers have knowledge about the IKEA vision/ business idea/ values/ history and have the right competence level within their job
Secure that the competence development in the store and the introduction of new-workers are carried out together with a well-functioning buddy system
Track, analyze, evaluate, and review training program/information regularly (weekly, monthly) with the team to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
Ensure and follow up on self-study and e-learning to secure a fast and efficient learning path for new co-workers
Responsible for potential programs to secure development for leaders and specialist for the future
Participate in developing our leaders so they are competent in carrying out their leadership role
Ensure that everyone have their development talk and individual training plans
Follow up a training calendar, plan training timely and with respect of the store activity level
Update the L&D board with the latest news to inspire and create interest for co-workers to read
Secure high participating rate in training and ensure that training is documented and updated in the Training Database
Evaluate training qualitative and quantitative (KPI)
Make use of new medias to promote an inspiring learning environment
Work actively together with L&Ds in other stores in order to share and work smarter.
Participate in representing IKEA both internal/external meetings and keep updated of new training methods, the L&D market outside IKEA and bring in new input to improve the working process in L&D.
Contribute to that the store is running HR processes according to commercial review, internal guidelines and always lives up to law and legislation in the country.
Be an IKEA role model and be one of the main facilitators in the IKEA way training.

QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3-5 years working experience in HRD/training/learning and development in fast paced organization, preferably from Retail or Service Industry
Possess experience in designing and delivering of training programs which are adapted to the co-workers way of learning
Ability to create an environment where the IKEA values are strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and visitors
Understanding of Adult Learning Principles and performance management techniques
Self-reliant, self-motivated, ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent analytical and decision making skills, extremely high level of flexibility and creativity
Ability to assess skills gaps and evaluates the effectiveness of a learning intervention
Computer literate (MS-Office programs) and fluent in English communication both written & spoken
Able to work on Sat. or Sun. or public holidays (5 work days, 2 days-off)
