Jungah mouth dried at the time in which Kahi got out the car and her eyes were glued to her. So was Kahi's. Jungah watched her with her mouth slightly open and flushed cheeks. Kahi cleared her throat.
"Wow, Jungah..." Kahi said, noting as her hands began to sweat. "You are amazing." Jungah smiled, blushing slightly.
"You too, unnie." Jungah said, with iher eye-smile.
"Well, we leave?" Kahi said.
Jungah nodded, smiling, as Kahi approached the passenger door and opened it to Jungah. Jungah smiled again and entered the car. Kahi smiled and took a deep breath, trying to relax, as she walked to the other door of the car.
"You can do it Kahi. She is your woman and both know it." Kahi said to herself, giving encouragement.
Kahi entered the car and looked at Jungah, who was smiling nervously. Kahi smiled back as she pulled the seat belt and turn on the car. Gradually, Jungah began to relax, watching the night lights of the city.
"Where are you taking me?" Jungah asked, looking at Kahi. Kahi smiled, her eyes fixed on the road.
"A place I used to go when I returned from Europe." Kahi said. "You'll like it."
"I hope so, Jiyoung-ah." Jungah smiled.
"Trust me, Jungah-unnie." Jungah laughed.
After 35 minutes of drive, Kahi and Jungah came to a restaurant where Jungah had never been before. The restaurant was called "The Night Sky" and occupied a quite large building.
Jungah's mouth opened, looking surprised the great restaurant that was before her.
"How come I never noticed this?" Asked Jungah. Kahi smiled and shrugged.
Kahi and Jungah entered the building and the receptionist of the restaurant approached them with a friendly smile on her face.
"What I can do for you?" She asked.
"A reservation on behalf of Park Kahi." Kahi said. The receptionist nodded and looked for the name of Kahi in the list of reserves. After a few seconds, she looked up and smiled.
"Head to the lift, button number 6." Kahi nodded and grabbed Jungah's hand, walking toward the elevator.
"This restaurant is huge." Jungah said, still amazed and Kahi laughed.
When Jungah and Kahi reached their destination, Jungah's eyes widened. They were on the roof of the building, where a solitary table with a bottle of wine was waiting for them, surrounded by flowers.
"You like it?" Kahi asked. Jungah looked at her and nodded.
"It's beautiful." Kahi smiled pleased and grabbed Jungah's hand, bringing her to the table.
Kahi took off a chair at the table and told Jungah to sit. Jungah smiled and sat down. Then, Kahi sat across her. At that time, several waiters approached the table and Jungah looked them with open eyes, while the waiters put on the table several plates full of food.
"But we haven't asked for anything yet." Jungah said, confused.
"Look closely, Jungah." Kahi said. "It's the usual." Kahi smiled and Jungah opened her eyes wide when she realized that the dishes in front of her were the ones who they usually ate in Jooyeon's restaurant.
Kahi and Jungah started eating, exchanging glances and smiles over the wine glasses and the silverware. The moonlight was shining brightly, letting fall her silvery sheen on both women. Beside it, the stars were clearly visible.
Jungah looked up to the skyward and smiled, remembering that first night on the balcony of Kahi's apartment or that another night on the lookout, lying on a blanket, with the city of Seoul at their feet.
Jungah smiled, thinking of all the incredible moments that Kahi was brought to her life and realized why she could not forget her. Because it was simply impossible.
When they finished eating, Kahi snapped her fingers and an elegantly dressed man entered the roof, with a violin in his hands. Then the violinist began to stroke the strings with his fingers and the bow, and the notes began to flow.
Kahi rose from her chair and went to Jungah, offering her hand. Jungah looked Kahi's hand and then her face, smiling slowly.
Jungah and Kahi started dancing in the middle of the roof, swaying slowly in time with the soft melody that escaped from the hands of the violinist. Jungah smiled, looking at Kahi in the face and leaned her head on Kahi's shoulder. Kahi smiled and hugged Jungah's waist.
"I've missed you." Kahi said. Jungah smiled.
"I would be a liar if I said that I didn't." Jungah closed her eyes.
"I am very sorry for what happened Jungah." Kahi said seriously. "I know that I shouldn't have hidden the truth, but I really wanted you to think of me as Kahi, not Jiyoung." The smile disappeared from Jungah's face. "Because Jiyoung doesn't exist anymore."
"I wanted you for who you. I loved Kahi and I loved Jiyoung." Jungah said. Kahi sighed.
"I was an idiot for not having thought of that." Kahi said and Jungah nodded against her shoulder.
"I've always said that you're an idiot." Jungah smiled.
"Yaah!" Kahi laughed. "I want you back, Jungah." Kahi said. Jungah closed her eyes tightly.
"And what about Sophia?" Asked Jungah.
"Sophia and I are done." Kahi said. "I went out with her to try to forget you, but it was impossible." Jungah smiled. "You didn't disappear from my mind even for a second. Your memory burns my heart with each beat." Kahi stopped dancing and looked into Jungah's eyes intensely, while Jungah believed that she would drown in her eyes. "I want you by my side."
Jungah stared into Kahi's eyes, reading repentance and truth in them, feeling the strength of her feelings through the warmth of her arms that hug her waist. Jungah smiled, stretching out a hand and closing Kahi's eyes. Kahi, confused, let Jungah close her eyes.
Jungah approached slowly at Kahi's ear, letting her breath caressing Kahi's neck, who was shaken gently to the warm touch on her skin.
"You didn'tt disappear from my mind for a second too. There isn't a moment when your face, your smile and the strength of your eyes didn't appear in my head, tormenting and torturing me by the fact that you were not beside me." Jungah traced the outline of Kahi's jaw gently with her lips, while still covering Kahi's eyes. "So I'm going to let you catch me, Park Kahi, because it's useless to fight against my feelings."
And with that sentence, Jungah crashed her lips against Kahi's, losing her mind when she tasted those lips that were far from her for a whole year. Kahi's lips smiled against Jungah's, as she pressed her body against Jungah's, hugging her tightly around her waist.
Jungah arms curled around Kahi's neck, bringing her closer to deepen the kiss as her tongue made her way through Kahi's parted lips, who chewed hers.
When their tongues touched, both women emited a moan of pleasure and excitement, to feel and try again the sweet taste of the other with their lips. Jungah pressed her body against Kahi, while the violinist, smiling, left the roof. After several minutes, both women pulled away. Kahi leaned her forehead against Jungah's and smiled, sighing happily.
"I'm finally at home." Kahi said. Jungah smiled the sweetest of her eye-smiles.
"Welcome home... Yeobo." Jungah said, kissing Kahi's lips again.
