2. Materials and Methods
2.1 Raw Materials
A bulk sample of 50 kg of Gurjari variety
selected from various study by (Joshi et al. 2014a) of
parboiled milled rice was procured from m/s
Ghanshyam Rice Mill, Bavla, Ahmedabad. Rice had
the average dimension of length as 6.8 mm, breath as
1.7 mm and length to breadth ratio as 4.0 mm. The
measurements of the sample were done in the
laboratory following the standard procedure. The
moisture content in the rice was 11% (wb). The rice
was stored under ambient conditions (37±3 ̊C) in the
laboratory and used as and when required for
experimentation.ce
