:Reply the quality problems of product “Nissin cup noodle”
Due to the problem during production processes, we would like to declare causes of problem and preventive action to the customer as followed.
1. Upside down die cut
Cause: The wrapping paper may drop during die cut process and the worker may return the paper to the die cut machine in the wrong direction. Besides, there is no mark to easily observe when the paper is returned to pile correctly.
Preventive action: Create marks on the edge of printed paper sheets in order to observe and investigate the upside down problem and increase AQL level to intensive.
2. Wastage of paper
Cause: Workers do not remove all paper waste out properly.
Preventive action: 100% sourcing of finished goods before sending to the customer.
3. Oil dirty
Causes: This problem is rare to find. However, Oil dirty problem comes from machine in the printing process
Preventive action: Create the number of the product in order to easily check.
4. Golden line is not properly connected after wrapping
Cause: Heat and moisture from water based coating during calendaring process cause paper shrink.
Preventive action: Delay process after calendaring process for 3-5 days for paper relaxation before take paper to die cut process.
5. Crumpled paper problem
Cause: Paper has low stiffness because of low thickness. Therefore, workers have to push the paper into the machine which may cause crumpled paper.
Preventive action: Rise up the level of product checking and let workers pile paper outside machine before feed paper into machine.
