Population
The target group of the study was 24 Payap University students, who enrolled in English I (AE101), second semester of 2003 academic year, were selected as a target group. All of the students were first-year students from Department of Communication arts and more than half of the number did not pass the placement test when they first entered the university. The target group was randomly divided into 6 groups in order to take part in oral presentation activities.
