As a mid-end beach resort, Veranda comprises of 80 guestrooms, 3 food & beverage outlets, spas, and a separate area with 13 pool villas. The architectural elements of the guestroom buildings are inspired by the architectural characteristics of a Thai fishing village. The character of unorganized vertical wooden stilts is transformed into different terraces, columns and shades, creating a sense of informality and relaxation, an important element for resort hotels. The same idea is expanded to other interior elements such as floor pattern and the decorative elements in the lobby. Three buildings of guestrooms offer 2 different experiences, the spectacular sea view, and the reflecting pond and garden views. In compliance with the local height and density regulations, the fragmentation of buildings provides an openness of the surrounding space creating a low-density impact to the environment.
