Referring to S1000 order to Next Vision where we have a huge lost due to discount change and missing SW in the order, I’ve already talked to K.Chamorn and K.Sawarot for a possibility to increase the price or cancel the order. However, as checked, the missing SW is actually committed and not a customer’s false and we will have no reason to increase the price or cancel the order. As a matter of fact, Next Vision has already deposited 40% of the total amount when ordering and his contract to the end-customer will soon expire.
To this case, we need to deliver the system according to the customer PO and acknowledge the actual lost. We will try to get compensated the lost from other orders to maintain the net margin at the year-end. As agreed, a portion of the lost from the missing SW will have to be deducted by the sales’ commission based on the commission agreement and the management judgment.
To the prevention in the future, all involved parties in the sales quote process will have to be more careful. The config will have to be reviewed by an expert from either in the country or RHQ to ensure a correctness.
