This project intend to create control circuit for DC Solar Pump. Buck Converter which is controlled by microcontroller dsPIC30f2010 is chosen because it can step down voltage but step up current. It help in starting motor. Moreover the pump can operate while the low light and this circuit will track maximum power point of solar cell. The circuit acceptable havinginput voltage less than 40 volts and input current less than 10 amperes by use a rated pump 250 watts. The experimental results concluded that the circuit can find maximum power point tracking of solar cell throughout the day. Experimental operation of pumps connected directly with a solar panel unable to start but if connect through Buck Converter a pump can to start, which pumping approximately 10,000 liters and pumping about 8 hours per day by circuit efficiency 86 percent.
