Station Leader
G1.3.20.1 Role Purpose Statement
The Station Leader is appointed by The Passenger Services Manager and reports jointly to Passenger Services Manager and Ramp Services Manager. He/She is responsible for the overall performance and administra tion of the station.
G1.3.20.2 Job Descriptions
• Supervise and maintain safe, professional and efficient passenger and aircraft handling operations incomplicant with airpoprt regulations and Company safety, qaulity and security requirements;
• Supervise the discipline, conduct and appearance of statiom personnel;
• Ensure neccessary information, documentation, forms, labels and tags are available at the point of use;
• Disseminate immediate and continuous information to all staffs of change in operational procedures;
• Promote efforts to achieve on-time performance and quick
turnaround of late arriving flights;
• Communicate with other internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient running of all operations;
• Report all incident / accident , investigate root cuase (s) and inpliment corrective / preventive actions to eliminate recurrence;
• Liaise with airport agencies, such as Customs, Immigration, Security, to facilitate smooth processing of passengers;
• Initiate tracing action or investigation,as applicable, to resolve irregularities of missing,pilfered or mishandled baggage
• Provide assistance to passengers in the event of delayed, diverted, or cancelled flight;
• Complete and dispatch all relevant documentation, including ticket coupons ans sales reports as required;
• Account for, and hand in to Cashier, all revenue collected;
• Review the overall performance of station operations an a daily basis and initiate inprovment;
• Conduct meeting with station personnel to enhance
communiication, build team spirit and elevate job perfor mance;
