After learning, when students triggered the Q&A function
on the map, students can do self assessment. The self assessment
allows students to figure out what knowledge is
they lack now. It can direct students a learning way. In addition,
the Q&A gave the bonus scores if students got the correct
answer. When a round ended, students will see the ranking list,
it shows not only personal rank but also school's rank. We think
this is an important element to motivate students more engaged
in this game. As long as student fight for a better rank or wants
to beat other students for their school’s honor, they need work
harder in the game. Therefore, they may play the game over
and over again and be more concentrated on the instructional
stage in order to pursue high score. Above all, we can convert
the serial of behaviors as a learning circle, see “Fig. 13”. We
hope that may motivate students to keep their active learning.
