In Exp. A, 14 Arctic chars (Salvehus alp&us) were sampled both by CT and
CVP, sample volumes being 2 ml. Results express the additional fluids in
CT blood, CVP blood serving as a control. In Exp. B, the last aliquot was
compared with the first 1.5 ml aliquot obtained during exsanguination of
seven Arctic chars, five of which were sampled by CVP and two by
CT. Fluid fractions were deduced from hemoglobin and chloride concentrations.
