In total, the samplings at the fixed location of 08°00′S, 080°30′E gave estimates of a higher population density, in total, of both adults and nymphs of the sea skaters in spots where the air temperature was more than 27.5 °C than that in spots where it was less than 27.5 °C (20491.4 vs. 12070.9 individuals/km2; Mann–Whitney U-test: z = −2.614, p = 0.009).
