Ozone layer is a thin part of the earths atmosphere that absorbs almost all of the suns harmful ultraviolet light. Ozone is a gas in the atmosphere that protects everything living on the earth from harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun.
- Montreal Protocol An agreement to eliminate use of ozone
Depleting substances ---> destroy ozone, Global Warming / Climate Change.
- Kyoto Protocol Agreement to decrease greenhouse gas emissions. More difficult to achieve because the world economy is so closely linked with greenhouse gas emissions.
