PRIMUS EPIC® SOFTWARE PHASE 5 - ADDITIONAL
FUNCTIONS
(see RFM - Supplement 68)
OAT SENSOR MISCOMPARE INDICATION
When a temperature difference of 6°C or greater is being experienced
between the two OAT system the OAT indication changes to amber.
The OAT indication is the average between the OAT sensors. When the
difference returns to below 6°C the OAT indication reverts back to white.
VELOCITY (GS) MISCOMPARE
A velocity miscompare indication VEL has been added to inform the pilot
that the velocity output from the two AHRS differs by 2 kts, or more, for
groundspeed below 20 kts.
WIND INDICATION SYMBOLOGY
The wind symbology has been modified to change to amber when the wind
value has been frozen due to the TAS being less than 40 kts or for a period
of six minutes if, crossing 40 kts, the roll attitude was greater than 3°.
PERFORMANCE PAGES
For full information of performance data available refer to FMS Pilots Guide
latest issue. If any conflict exists between the FMS performance data and
that presented in the RFM, the RFM shall take precedence.
The following information is available in the MCDU performance pages:
• PERFORMANCE INIT page 3/3 is used to initialìze aircraft weight,
according to the actual configuration.
PERF INIT page 3/3 contains:
• BOW and Basic CG
• Fuel Gauge - by default this is the actual fuel
• STR F/A - Stretcher weight (if installed) - fore and aft
• PILOTS - Total weight of pilot and co-pilot
• ROW 1/2/3 - Passenger weight, divided in 3 rows of seats
• Baggage - T otal weight of baggage
• HOIST/HOOK - load on hoist (ìf used)
• Load on cargo hook (if used)
