A person will be responsible for everyday first level support for users in APAC region and will be cooperating close with Global IT Team. As a part of duties, a person will be maintaining IT equipment including physical network infrastructure.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Bachelor (4-year) technical degree in computer science or engineering
At least four years of experience on similar position
Good English knowledge that will allow verbal and written communication with Staff and IT Team
Good interpersonal skills and patience with users
Good knowledge of Windows 7 operating system and Microsoft Office Suite
Good organizational skills
Good time management
Microsoft certification is a plus
Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure and / or Networks in terms of handling first level support Basic knowledge of ERP Systems or Account Systems methodology
DUTIES
Provide First level support for users. Investigate and troubleshoot issues. Escalate unsolved queries to Second Level Helpdesk unit.
Setup, reconfigure and daily maintenance of workstations including performance tuning and hardware upgrades if needed.
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures in cooperation with IT Team Leader and IT Team.
Perform periodic reporting to IT Team Leader.
Maintain local IT equipment environment and monitor it including network equipment.
Perform daily IT environment monitoring and standard compliance verification of systems designated by IT Team Leader
WORKING CONDITIONS
Occasional travel may be required
